Today while the Pea was snoozing, I finally got back to the sewing machine. I have been dreaming about making she and I a few matching skirts/dresses for some of the many photo sessions in our future (have to document the changes for the Dadder!). I really wanted to make a pillowcase dress for her ever since I saw the pictures of them.
I have been stocking up on pillowcases from our local Goodwill (which is awesome, by the way!). I even splurged and purchased a few new ones from TJ Maxx! Today while she did this:
I worked on this:
I am so (!!!) happy with it! I wasn't sure that it would even fit, but it's great. I think I'm going to start making a wardrobe full of skirts for myself. Why pay $20-$30 for skirts when you can make them for $1.00?

Nice Skirt! And just in time for summer. Wait until you see my latest crafting debacle. It'll have you rolling with laughter.
I'll probably post about it tomorrow. And here's an unfortunate hint -> this item I made would match that lovely needle point you have hiding in your closet (the one with feathered friends). As soon as the connection became apparent, I realized I had to frog.
